Volunteer Sign Up Sheets Add To Calendar

The Volunteer Sign Up Sheets Add To Calendar extension lets you create Add To Calendar links, as well as ICS attachments, for the emails sent by the Volunteer Sign Up Sheets plugin for WordPress.

This extension can create Add To Calendar links for Google Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, and Outlook Calendar (both the live.com and the office365.com versions). It also can generate ICS file attachments that can be download and imported into almost any calendar.

Adds email template tags, that will appear in the Template Tag Helper of the main plugin, that can be inserted into email templates for the “Add To Calendar” links. Supports HTML emails with HTML links where you can set the text to use for each link, so you don’t have to show the long encoded link. Can be used in confirmation, reminder, and reschedule emails from the main plugin, and you can select which of those emails should get ICS attachments. You can also optionally create an additional column in the User Signups List table that will create a pop-up with all the add-to-calendar links, as well as a button to generate and download the ICS file for each of the user’s signups.

Calendar entry titles and description can be defined in the extension using existing email template tags for things like sheet or task name, dates, times, etc. You can set a default location that will be used for all add to calendar links, or you can specify a field from the Custom Fields extension that specifies a location for a sheet or task.
