All of my plugins have licenses which are valid for one year from the date of purchase. A valid and active license key is required in order to get automatic upgrades, and support, for your purchased plugins.
Beginning in May 2022, all software licenses, and renewals, are sold as subscriptions. Subscriptions will automatically renew each year at 50% (half) of the original price until you cancel your subscription. If you purchased a license prior to the subscriptions being implemented, the next time you renew your license, it will automatically be converted to a subscription. Subscriptions are renewed yearly from the purchase date and the subscription renewal date may not be the same as the license expiration/renewal date, if, for example, you purchase a renewal before the license expiration date. Note that the licenses will be extended for another year from the LICENSE expiration date, and NOT from the SUBSCRIPTION purchase/renewal date, so you will not lose any time on your licenses.
You can view your subscriptions, and cancel your subscriptions at any time, from the Subscriptions page. If you don’t like the subscription model, simply cancel your subscription at any time and then you can manually renew your license before it expires.
NOTE: Cancelling a subscription does NOT refund your payment. It just prevents the subscription system from automatically renewing for you in 1 year.
I don’t cripple my plugins in any way, so you can cancel your subscription immediately if you wish, and your plugin will continue to work just fine and you license will still be active until its paid expiration date. However, once your license expires you will no longer receive automatic updates or support.
Updates are included for free for one year. If you have a valid and active license key, and your plugin supports it, updates will be delivered automatically from the WordPress dashboard. If your plugin does not support automatic upgrades, then updates can be downloaded from your account page.
Support for purchased plugins is given up to one year after the purchase date. If you wish to get support after one year, you must renew your license key, or purchase a new license for the plugin you wish to get support for.
Licenses can be renewed at 50% of the price of the plugin, and will give you an additional year of support and automatic updates. Plugins are not crippled, and will continue to function even with an expired license.
Depending on your payment method, charges should appear as “S SHERRARD” or “STEPHEN SHERRARD”, or DBAR Productions.
If you have problems getting plugins to work, I am happy to provide a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase. After 30 days, no refunds will be given. Before a refund will be granted, you must allow me to try and help solve any problem you have by opening a support ticket. NOTE: refunds will not be granted if you simply decide not to use the purchased products. I stand behind my plugins and will assist you in solving any problem you have, but I also expect you to adequately understand what you are purchasing and why.
