      Hi

Would it be a possibility to make an “applying” system instead of a “Taking” sytem, let me explain a little further 😉

im envolved in a small music festival, and we have 800 volunteers and a lot of things to do, unfortunately not all task are popular like taking care of trash or cleaning up, where others are extremely popular like serving beers 🙂

So i need a system where the volunteers can apply for as many tasks as they want, but where i can choose the one there is most qualified for the job, and when i have chosen the one, or maybe chosing more than one, the rest will be removed from the task.

it would also be great if it could produce a list of the volunteers who have apllied for tasks, but doesnt have a task because of it was given to others, this will make me able to give those people other jobs, which havent been forfilled

The list could be like — ID/NAME– TELEPHONE NUMBER– APLY`d FOR — TASK GIVEN — LINK TO PROFILE

This will make it extremly easy to give those where (TASK GIVEN ) is empty, a task where there is nobody yet.

I have no idea if this is hard to do, but i sincerely hope it is possible 🙂

That would be almost a total rewrite of the plugin… totally different functionality than what my plugin was intended for.

I could certainly create a custom plugin to do what you want, but it wouldn’t be cheap.

I could well imagine that Stephen, Unfortunately there is not granded much money in our budget for web development 😉 ill will try to make this plugin work, and i will buy the buddypress extension, and then make more task than needed, and then manually puzzle it together with the csv eksporter to excel.

Thanks for your quick responce Stephen.
