Hey, Stephen! I’m making some progress. i got the prices being filtered the correct way and all the rest too. The only issue left is that when I log out from wholesale, the layered nav keeps the values for wholesale also for retail and guest. And then if I click one of those it shows the wholesale products too, with no price, but the products should still be hidden. Any idea what that is? Cleared transients and everything, disabled all plugins, but didn’t work. Could it be server-side, because it shows on all browsers and machines? Cheers, Andy

It doesn’t filter or even show wholesale prices – it is a price slider, but not the native one. Actually it doesn’t matter, because I tried them all. I use flatsome theme from UX Themes, they involve a lot of custom templates. Maybe that is part of the problem. I’ll send it to you after the weekend through email. I already think about switching to a different one, because this one is heavily customized and that produces some issues. Cheers, Andy

    Hey, Stephen

I solved the issue somehow – had to switch back your plugin version and used the filter I mentioned above. It is counting and showing everything the right way now and also changes when I login or logout, just as it should. And I didn’t notice any disadvantages yet. But don’t have so many products, don’t know what happens if it’s going to be more. But for now I’m happy. Only thing is I still cannot filter wholesale prices. But if that’s all I can live with that. Maybe that helps? So no need to do anything further in my case at the moment. Thank you so much for taking that big amount of time to solve that. I really appreciate it a lot. Cheers, Andy

Wow, that sounds really complicated. To cut my answer short, I have no problem with switching to any other filtering plugin. I just used the native one because I thought it would work best. Well, I was wrong. Do you have any suggestions for such a plugin? I used WooCommerce Products Filter from Nenad Mihajlovic purchased through Envato. But that one did not show any products on wholesale side (maybe something with it’s custom template). So I switched back to layered nav. One with a color picker would be nice. So if you know any good, could you let me know? Thanks a lot for your really sensational support! Cheers, Andreas

Sorry to bother you again, I encountered another strange issue – if I visit my shop as a guest, it shows the correct values for filtering items. After I login as a wholesale customer it keeps the values, but after a while – I couldn’t reproduce the trigger – it switches to the wholesale values (and then they work for wholesale). But then the same happens when I logout and view it as a guest again, because it keeps the wholesale values for a while until it switches back to retail values again. It is the same on different browsers and machines, so not a local or browser-based problem. Just wanted to let you know, maybe it gives you a clou in some way. Cheers, Andreas

    Hi, Stephen

Wish you a happy new year, hope you had some nice days off. I did some changes in the meantime which worked for parts of the issues. But it is not running fluently and I am using additional plugins for restricting categories and products. My major concern is the price filter, which would be great but only filters regular and sale prices, not wholesale if set. However, in my case there is no hurry, the store is not really official yet so I can still do some testing. Looking forward to a solution.

    Best regards,

    Andreas

    Hi, Stephen

hope you had some days off finally πŸ˜‰ Didn’t want to bother you over the holidays with this. Actually all the layered nav functions are not working with wholesale products – they are filtering (not the pricing though, that does not work for wholesale at all because it is filtering the retail prices) but always showing the retail counts and values too, which is a bit irritating because you don’t see those products on the page. I am using flatsome theme from UX Themes.

    Greets,

    Andreas

    Hi, Stephen

nothing to worry about immediately πŸ˜‰ I use your newest plugin version. Funny thing is it works the other way round, so it doesn’t show wholesale values on retail. But we can solve this after your holidays, not that important. Have some nice time with your family!

Tried everything but nothing works. On cart page it shows retail prices and sets alls wholesale items to free products. Do I need to set the retail price to zero for wholesale-products and the other way round?

Me again, now it shows all items in the cart as free. But the prices in the footer widgets are correct πŸ˜‰ And related products still show “Only for retail”. Sorry for these troubles, just wanted to let you know. I reinstalled the previous version again for now. Regards, Andy

I understand, I try to get rid of any of these widgets or whatever it displays on cart and checkout page. Should be ok then, don’t worry. Thanks for helping anyway. Best regards, Andreas

I’m not sure if it is theme related. I’ll try to find out what is injecting those related products into the cart page and get back.

Hi, Stephen! Sorry, I’m talking about cart page (nowhere else), yes. And it is only related products and widgets there (no cart items, not checkout) saying this product is for retail only (which is wrong, should be the opposite). Cleared transients already, no changes. I’m using “flatsome” theme, all plugins up to date. Yours is 2.6.3. Thanks, Andreas
