Complete list of signups

I manage a number of Booster/Club sites and am using this very successfully on one. I am in the process of adding this to another club site, where there are around 20 ongoing signup sheets. It would be great to be able to view a master list of all volunteers/signups, without accessing the
admin section and exporting each sheet individually. Additionally, accessing this without going into the admin section would be a nice feature (although I realize using a capabilites plugin can limit access to the rest of the site).

It would be great to use a shortcode to add a signup listing to a page, if not all lists. Maybe you could specify which sheet by ID, and it could list the signup title, tasks and people on a page. By adding this list to a page via shortcode, any volunteer could grab this list (maybe password protect that page) and print or export it and they won’t need any specific instructions to get into WordPress. Training, even in a minimal way, is always an issue with volunteers.

Contact Form 7 Database plugin has a similar type of feature, where (via shortcode) you can pull data, display on a page and also export it. I’ve used this so many times on these sites because many volunteers can be involved and I can just add a simple password to a page.

      This is a great plugin!

An Export All Data to CSV function has been added to version 1.12.2. Still only from admin side, as it was relatively easy to add while doing other updates.

I would love to have this as well. I have 9 elementary-age day camps with 9 different directors. The directors all have varying levels of computer experience. It would be so much easier to give them a URL & password to 9 unique pages that display a list of their particular camp’s volunteers. Since it’s not built-in, does anyone know of a plugin that could use the CSV link to display the data on a chosen page? I don’t have the programming skill to accomplish this on my own.

The CSV link only works on the admin side. As I replied to your post on the WordPress.org support forum, the admin side of things and public side of things in WordPress are separate and those pages are generated in different ways.

If you are going to give the camp directors URLs and Passwords anyway, then just set them up with the role “Sign up Sheet Manager”, and give them the URL to the admin dashboard and take a few minutes to show them how to click the CSV export button.

Otherwise, if you absolutely need some way for them to view all the sign-up info on the public side, on some password protected page, and you have the budget for some custom development work, feel free to contact me privately to discuss. Otherwise, this is the proper place to post feature requests (with the many others, not counting all the requests via direct email), and it’s where I go for ideas on new features on those rare occasions where I have the time to add something new to the core plugin.

Thanks Stephen. I noticed that your plugin “PTA Member Directory and Contact Form” has built-in integration with Contact Form DB. I’ll contact you directly to see if that integration might be something you could add to PTA Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet, and what it what I should budget. Thanks again.
