      Great plug-in, really helpful!

Recently I am unable to edit/add/use the text file for the Program/Event Details in the admin side of the web site. Nothing displays in the box and I’m unable to click into it. I click on the “Text” tab and nothing happens, then I click on the “Visual” tab and the text box disappears. Thoughts?

Still working fine on my servers. Sounds like a conflict with another plugin, or theme.

Do you have Visual Composer or some other type of plugin installed that modifies your post editor? Perhaps your theme came with Visual Composer, or some other type of “enhanced” editor, and doesn’t like the editor in my plugin because it’s not associated with a page or post?? Just guessing at this point since it’s working fine for me, and nobody else has reported any issues.

My plugin simply calls the WordPress function to create the standard post editor window… it’s not something custom that I put there, it’s a WordPress function.

You will most likely need to do a process of elimination to find the conflicting plugin or theme. Try switching to a default theme to see if the problem goes away, and that will tell you if it’s a theme issue. If not, try turning off other plugins one at a time and checking again. When the problem goes away, then you will know which plugin is creating the conflict.

Once you figure out the cause of the conflict, you can let me know which theme or plugin it is, and I can test it out (if it’s not something I need to purchase, otherwise you’ll need to send me a copy to test). Not sure how much I can do, though, since I’m not creating that editor section myself, but using a built-in WordPress function to generate it.

Looks like cforms, which was recently abandoned by it’s developer, was causing the issue.

Thanks for the quick response and great product.

OK… good to know. Sounds like that plugin had some security vulnerabilities that never got resolved, so you definitely want to get it completely off your site (can still be a risk even when deactivated).
