Hello! I’m using VSU v3.2.0 and Calendar Display v1.5.3. Thank you for all your work, Stephen.

The link in the pop-up “go back to the Sign-Up Sheet” goes to /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?sheet_id=2- which is a blank page. I re-saved my permalink structure and the issue persists.

So there is no way to go back to the calendar after clicking the Sign Up link in the pop-up. There is a Close button on the first page of the pop-up, but no button on the second page. I can’t use ESC or click outside the pop-up to close it.

      Thanks for reading!

Can you email me privately with a link to the calendar where this is happening? And maybe let me somehow see your settings for both the calendar and the main plugin?

I’m not sure how you managed to set things so that you see a “go back to the Sign-Up Sheet” on the pop-up signup form from the Calendar. That text link should not be showing there. I tested with several different combinations of settings here and I can’t get it to show.

I’m also not sure what you mean by first and second “page” of the pop-up. You can have it set to pop-up the event details, and then when you click on a signup link in that pop-up, it should load the signup form. The signup form does not have a “close” button, but it should have 2 buttons at the bottom right, one that says “Sign Me Up!” and the other should say “Cancel”. The “Cancel” button will close the signup form window, which will then take you back to the “details” window (if you had it set to pop-up the details), which then has a “close” button.

The only thing I can see that is not working correctly here is that if you have the two pop-ups like that, when you close the sign up form by clicking “Cancel” the underlying “Event Details” window now has a title of “Signup”, so I’ll have to look at fixing that in the javascript to see if I can reset the title of the “underneath” details window to what it was initially. But, I’m having no problems closing windows, and I do not see that text link you referenced, which should not be in the calendar since the calendar is separate from the main sheets list.

I must have been typing my response when you posted your response with the link, and not seeing it until now, but can’t test it anyway since you have it set that I need to be logged in to signup.

However, through another custom programming client that uses the same plugins, I found out that the last update of the Calendar (1.5.3) that I modified to work better with the Custom Fields extension could break things if you are not using Custom Fields… the javascript is trying to call the datepick function (in Custom Fields) and would cause an error if that doesn’t exist, which would then somehow make the signup and cancel buttons not show on the pop-up signup form.

I have released version 1.5.4 which fixes that, just now. Please give that a try and let me know if it fixes your issue. I still can’t find how you got the “go back to the Sign-Up Sheet” link to show on your calendar, though, and I don’t see it there on that link you provided. But, hopefully today’s release fixes your issue. Please let me know if you are still having issues.
